This design represents the pride and strength of the people of Boston. Resembling the Boston Marathon Finish Line, I designed this piece after the blizzard of early 2015 when a man shoveled off the finish line out of pride and respect for his beloved city. It inspired me and showed me that no matter what may happen, The people of Boston will always stand tall and proud.
The third design of the "Boston Proud" series depicts Boston lifestyle. The setting resembles an MBTA station and the sign depicting "Boston Proud" is designed after the station signs. Keytar Bear, A lovable and well known character who can be seen all around Boston's MBTA stations, is shown in the foreground while his shadow take the form of Mr. Butch, another well known character to the native people of Boston. The green of the image represents the color of the shirt, so the color of Keytar bear's shoes, keytar and shadow change with it; as well as the color of the sign. I designed the shirt this way so that proud Bostonians could choose their color based on the color of the MBTA line they take most often.
Sharing the idea of the design above, this is a simplified version for people who would only like to show their pride for their MBTA line.
This was another shirt I designed for the "Boston Proud" series. The Lombardi Trophy is split into four sections, representing the four years that the Patriots won the Super Bowl. The kiss mark represents how Tom Brady's son kissed the trophy. The Blue of the image represents the fabric of the shirt, allowing the wearer to customize the color of the lettering and the kiss mark.
